	The actual prison cells, used until 1984, were moved here, half way up Mt,Tento, and restored as a museum.

	13.Okhotsk Prefectural Park (Tentoland Auto camping site)
	Located halfway up Mt.Tento. You can enjoy views of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Shiretoko mountain range. This auto camping site is in a huge park.

	15.Sightseeing Icebreaker Ms.'Aurora'
	Breaking ice up to one meter thick,the boat cruises on the frozen Sea of Okhotsk.You can often see white-tailed sea eagles and seals from on board.

2.Moyoro Shell Mound Museum
The largest archaeological ruins in the Okhotsk area are preserved here. You can learn about the Moyoro people, who had their own distinct culture some 1000 years ago.

4.Abashiri Prison
A prison established in 1890. Prisoners work in agriculture and make furniture. A solemn service by floating buoyant candles for pioneers is held in August.
6.Okhotsk Ryuhyo Museum/ Mt.Tento Observatory
Experience the drift ice all year round. You can actually touch and feel the ice. A hi-vision theatre displays the four seasons of Okhotsk.There is also an observation tower.

8.YAKINIKU ABASHIRI BEER KAN
Here, you can taste freshly brewed Abashiri beer,made exclusively from Abashiri-produce. The best dishes for each season are also available.

10.Abashiri Lake View Ski Hill
It is a ski venue where you can ski while enjoying a view of the Sea of Okhotsk and Lake Abashiri. It offers courses for both advanced skiers and beginners.

12.Dosanko Hanazono Horse Ranch
Dosanko horses were commonly used during Hokkaido's Frontier Days. There are about 30 here near Lake Tofutsu. You can try horseback riding.

14. Kitahama Station
This is the closest station to the Sea of Okhotsk. Inside the station, there is a coffee shop where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Sea of Okhotsk over a cup of coffee.
